Those who migrated from the old Scout boards - Abu - Orange Attack - Atown -(hell, even Green85) might recall the Faaaadddeeee that the ducks used to experience more or less every year........
Considering the late collapse of this year's duck football team after playing pretty well most of the season - I am hoping we are seeing a return to the heady days of the FAAAAADDDDEEEEEE. Solid play early in the season followed by a few soul crushing losses later in the season which ensured no meaningful bowl games.
Basically, duck fan behaved like Raider fan early in the season - win one or two games impressively and start rattling on about championships. Only to have all hope crushed. It was glorious.
One can hope!

I recall with great clarity how duckfan would get IRATE at the mention of the FAAAAADDDEEEE. Pretty sure I was banned on the duck pond for having the temerity to bring it up a few times. Maybe more than a few. |

lol yeah I remember the USC fan "TrojanWarrior" I think on those message boards whose schtick was to needle the duck fans with "THE BIG FAAAADE"
