...as per Parker.
On the plus side, Christian Wright thought to be available before the first of the year (again as per Parker).

I believe the other transfer guard from ASU is also supposed to be available by the end of the month. They definitely need more guard and ball handler depth. Really liked what I saw from Rataj and Taylor also looked much more in control coming off the bench and not forcing it so much.

If there's one thing Men's BB has become good at it's killing program momentum and fan enthusiasm. On the plus side, this season officially has more wins than last! After 8 games!

If there's one thing Men's BB has become good at it's killing program momentum and fan enthusiasm. On the plus side, this season officially has more wins than last! After 8 games! Have to admit... I agree with you there. Seems like throughout all of WT's tenure any time there's a real chance to build momentum after a string of solid wins we find a way to go out and lose a home game to a bottom 3 conference team, or a lesser NC opponent. Or follow-up an Elite 8 season with a 3-28 one. And I say this as someone who typically leans more in support of WT than the "Fire Wayne" crowd after every loss.
Granted, this has been an issue long before WT as well, but other than the Pac-12 and NCAA tourney run in '21, has there ever been anything longer than a 3 game conference winning streak in the last 25+ years? Might need some Wilky input on this one.

I don't remember if we won three in a row but the year one of Eddie Payne's teams went 13-1 at home and we beat Arizona was pretty great. It seems like that was the last time Gill was packed or nearly so much of the time. There was momentum to be grabbed but we lost pretty much all the road games...

Oregon State beat Stanford, California, and Utah to end the 2020 season (COVID-19 lockdowns started the day after the Utah game). The Beavers then beat the Bears to start the 2020-21 season. Four straight right there. (California was technically a non-conference game, because the Bears and Beavers each had an opponent cancel a game, because of COVID-19.) If you don't include the 2018 Pac-12 Tournament, Oregon State finished by beating Wazzu in 2018 and then won the first three Pac-12 basketball games in 2019: @ Oregon, USC, and UCLA. Four straight there, as well, in "official" Pac-12 basketball games. (Pac-12 Tournament games are technically non-conference basketball games.) In 2012, Oregon State beat Utah, Colorado, Wazzu, and Washington in four consecutive games, the final two in the Pac-12 Tournament before losing the semifinal against Arizona. In 2003, Jay John's Oregon State started 0-5 in the Pac-10, 7-7 overall. The Beavers then recovered to beat Wazzu and Washington in Corvallis and USC and UCLA in Los Angeles. Oregon State then returned home for a three-game swing with all of the momentum in the world and immediately crated, losing all three. The Beavers finished going 2-8 to finish 13-15 overall. So, depending on how you count it, Oregon State has not won four straight Pac-12 games since 2003, 2012, 2018-19, or 2020.

Oregon State went 12-2 at home. 1-12 away from Gill. And the only road win was against on the North Shore of Oahu at Laie against Division 2 BYU-Hawaii, a school that no longer sponsors basketball.

We didn’t play at home a lot during that 10 year period?

We have accepted mediocrity and apparently embrace it. Why do we think it will get better? Is it that 2021 was in our minds? Maybe we need to look at all the years we were awful . Culture change is essential for that to happen. I see it in some of our other Sports. Men’s Soccer, Men’s Football. Men’s Baseball. Woman's Gymnastics ,Womens Softball, Woman’s Cross Country. Areas where improvement is needed is Men’s Basketball,Woman’s Basketball,Woman’s soccer, Woman’s volleyball. I think rowing in both groups is holding their own. Also Golf has been a pleasant surprise.

He wants "culture change", notice he listed women's basketball right after men's basketball as needing improvement. If you weren't at the top of your game last year you're out I guess.
