This is great. Nice find! A place to check every now and then to see the latest movement. Definetly some talent in the portal already. However the article says it doesn't open until Dec 5th... I guess players are verbally saying they will be in the Portal when it opens.

Poor duckies losing their 5 star linebacker Flowe. Uncle Phil must have been outbid.

Lots leaving Stanford and WSU. Stanford not a surprise, but not sure why WSU would see a lot of losses.

Same here, he never really seemed like a dominating force to me. But I still love to point out the misery of duck fans, losing their golden child that they all thought would be the second coming.

From the sounds of Angie Machado, it looks like Niner is going hard after DJ Uiagalelei. I thought it was a long shot, but even ESPN acknowledges that we are a possibility along with UCLA and the ducks.

If Smith were to somehow land this kid, then suddenly his younger brother might be in play, if that happens then recruiting could be off to the races next go around.

If Smith were to somehow find the money to pay this kid, then suddenly his younger brother might be in play, if that happens then recruiting could be off to the races next go around. Fixed for you

Did anyone even watch Clemson? Maybe he'd benefit from a change of scenery, but for the most part he was very average. Accent on very.

I watched a little of Clemson but nothing stick in my memory of the dude.
I've come to my own conclusion we should focus on a QB from a lower level or smaller school with alot of tape for our coaches to watch and evaluate.
Look for the next Penix Jr. Not a 5 star recruit from a program that has been in the CFP... and is looking for big NIL money or possibly has a bigger ego. Just from a "fit" standpoint.
Certainly Bo Pix showed a Power 5 program guy can transfer and improve... just lots of those guys didn't improve in the Portal last year. And a big splashy transfer just doesn't fit our blue collar culture in my opinion.
But.. I also walk with CJS. If he and his coaches are convinced... I'm all in.

Penix was from Indiana. Not a smaller school.

What I've noticed when I watch other top 20 teams, more often than not their QBs have some of the exact same "problems" ours do... overthrows on long passes, not hitting receivers in stride, throwing behind receivers on crossing routes, throwing too far outside on sideline routes, throwing better when not under pressure than under pressure... all of which have been complaits on this board. Occasionally ypu see a great game, or a QB that does well when plays break down, but on the whole they're not that much better, they're just not ours.
