Looks like Akanno, Andela, Taylor and Pope will log big minutes. Chol limps when he runs so I'm thinking will have limited minutes. Depth we will be our Achilles heel. 10 wins will be a great season for this group...but achievable!

The guys in the court have played together about the same as the end of most team’s bench.

This team is going to be fun to watch. I believe they will be competitive in a lot of games and win a fair share. I wouldn’t have thought so heading into the season. Ryuny is also going to log a lot of minutes. Health at the 5 spot is going to be key.

Right. We have a team worth watching again, after a one-year hiatus. Looking forward to it. Go Beavs!

Kansas won the NCAA title last year and only six players averaged more than 20 minutes a game. The next two only averaged 13. Most teams find a 7-8 player rotation and the rest watch.
Ralph sometimes played only six; I remember a game at Washington (1985?) when all five starters played 40 minutes. Gary Payton and AC green hardly ever sat. There are more than enough TOs and other stoppages to stay fresh.
The best players should play a lot of minutes. You want them on the court as much as possible.

Ralph did the same thing in a game in 1988 at Stanford. Played only the 5 starters all 40 minutes.(Payton, Knox, Sherwood, Brantley and Martin). OSU won 63-61. It was the first time since the game you mentioned in 1985 that he did that.
