New to the board. My daughter just signed her NLI to join the Beavs gymnastics team in the fall of next year. Looking forward to getting more insight on all sports. Hopefully I can provide some insight as well. Go Beavs!!!

Welcome to Benny's House! It's exciting to have a child that's competing in D1 sports at OSU - a big congratulations to that! It's no small feat and no small commitment for a parent. The kids need direction and encouragement for years to get there (Edit: forgot to say something about the small fortune). I've heard some parents read/hang out on this board but realize it's not a "controlled" environment (not too much anyway). A lot of people say what they think -- some say something before they think or read. Seriously.  There are a lot of gymnastics fans here, so everyone would be more than happy to have real information... not sure what that really looks like on the gymnastics side. Like all msg boards, you might have to plow through minutia infinitum periodically - maybe more, but many of us here appear to be retired. |

There are a lot of gymnastics fans here, so everyone would be more than happy to have real information... not sure what that really looks like on the gymnastics side.
