No word yet on whether his brother will continue his act. Most of these people you guys post about, I have almost no idea. But I was sad about Gallagher. I grew up watching his act, smashing fruit. Hilarious. And he had a bunch of other bits. He was like a better Carrot Top before Carrot Top came along. |

And how dare you mention his name in the same breath as Gallagher? The fruit smash gimmick was fun but it became overplayed. He had good material without it, in my opinion, but the smashing of fruit got him noticed. |

Sledge-o-matuc was the same thing for him as any music act’s signature hit was for them. If he doesn’t end the show with it, the paying audience was going to be pissed. You don’t get a dozen Showtime specials if you’re a one joke pony. |
