I don't follow recruiting as zealously as many of you. Besides the 2 commits we already have, who do we have a reasonable shot at landing?

Probably no one else from the US, unless maybe a surprise pops up. Maybe an international? Soltau seems like a possibility, though maybe unlikely.

This would be a second recruiting period without any height. Recruited. This would show a further decline in recruiting of bigs! Other then the two very good freshman of course. br]Let’s dial this back to when our best post player in recruiting history couldn’t play for 4 years, Andrea! . Which led to Jelena settling into that void. Which led to losing 2 more 5 star bigs half way into there time here. This makes a problem out of a healthy program. Particularly if Jelena isn’t the answer this year. Leading to more issues.
I’m holding my breath hoping for improvement. But their are question marks….. your post has some scary prospects without more height depth.

We’re literally one class removed from landing our highest- and third highest-ranked high school recruits, both of which were forwards/bigs. Heiden was a big miss in 2024, but there’s still some options in that class. I do think OSU should’ve added another 4/5 from the portal given all the losses. |
