Still remember when Stanford came to OSU and he was a sophomore? We were all like "who is this kid?". Glad he is back in the Bay Area, hope he makes a few memories.

Always nice when a local kid gets to play back at home for the pro team. Hope he can string together a handful of good seasons before he goes out.

I meant it less as a comment on his birthplace, but more as a nod toward the greatness he achieved at Stanford. Kinda like the old saying, “Home is where your heart is.” Won’t Corvallis forever be a home to you?

Great college experience but I’ve never told anybody that asked where my home was, Corvallis. Only Idaho.

But the town I moved to when I was six and grew up through high school will always be my hometown.

The cool thing about the English language is that all of us are right. “Home,” in the sense that I used it, is simply a place where a person lives. As Judge uses it, it is the birthplace. As Spud uses it, it is a place where family is. And as Seastape points out, it is a place of origin. Ain’t the English language fun?! For reference: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/home
