Lol the new kids are "taking coaching". Unfortunately he doesn't know how to coach. Thinking we made an elite 8 with no coaching is very....LOL |

Just saying he obviously can coach some or wouldn't have made it to 2 NCAA appearances, including an Elite 8. |

tinkle has a 35.8 winning percentage in pac12 play. Quit defending the guy. He has and is making millions with that kind of record shows how pathetic the fan base is as he should have been shown the door by now.

Yes, after leading us to the Elite 8, we should have canned him on the spot! I'm not defending him as a great or even good coach....but I think he's decent. That being said, there's no excuse for last year. He should be on the hot seat. But, I love all of the people that are saying he should have been fired by now. Did you not want the Elite 8 run? And, regardless of the abomination of last season, you can't fire him one year after an Elite 8 run. |

If Wayne can't coach,what does that say about Jimmy Anderson,Jay John,Craig Robinson and the like? No one is saying Wayne is coach K. Far from it. No one can explain how the two horrible seasons happened. The rest have been decent to solid...6 out of 8.

By the way his contract is over in what three years when does he get that new extension you know the recruiting excuse? I think Craig Robinson and jimmy Has a better overall osu record than wayne. Also the best pac12 record wayne has is 10-10. That's solid?

CR took us to how many NCAA tourneys? Padding your record with CBI wins helps your overall record. Sure, you can fire him after this year, if he tanks.......you just have to write a check. |

It's always easy to spend someone else's money. You fire him,you then have to pay him off,and pay a competent starting wage for a difference maker who can coach. He didn't get hired at a starting wage that would move the needle for guys who can take this program to a higher level. In fact,the last 6 coaches have been hired on the cheap. The old saying is you get what you pay for. This isn't hiring A head coach in WBB or baseball where we struck gold isn't the same as MBB.

Tinkle has one phenomenal season, a great season, three above average seasons, a mediocre season, and two flat awful seasons. He's 5-2-1 in seasons. It's match play. We're sitting at hole nine, just about to take a break at the clubhouse. Tinkle has won five holes and lost two. It doesn't matter that he hit about three hundred yards out of play on holes three and eight. You still owe that guy money. |
