OK, we have 11 on the roster. I'll take a stab at starting 5 for next Sunday.
Talia Bendu AJ Timea Jelena
First off the bench: Lex (Shalexxus)
Adlee Reagan
I am convinced this team will be a lot faster than we've seen in recent years and will be ball hungry- steals and disruptive defensive play. GO BEAVS!

The starting five looks right, although Rueck tends to switch it up in the first game just for kicks. But the "ball hungry- steals and disruptive defensive play"? (after checking to see if Rueck is still the coach) Naw, they'll try to get the other team to take low % shots and collect the rebound like always.

The four of Timea, Jelena, Talia, and Bendu is almost a given. Sure, it's possible Raegan could get the start at the 4 and then slide to Center when Jelena sits, but it's most likely Raegan backs up both Jelena and Timea. The real question is who is the 5th starter. Shalexxus has a lot of experience and can pop the 3. AJ's been in the program for a year and knows SR's system. Then, there is the freshman. I'll call this a toss up, and go with AJ game one, but probably going back and forth between her and Shalexxus in the first few weeks.

Good points Carl and I will agree with you and sewingbeaver on the starting 5. AJ knows the system now and should make a big step forward with her game this year....and for that reason I think she gets the nod for that 5th starting position.....I've noticed in the past that players going from their freshman years to their sophomore years often improve immensely and I'm hoping that AJ does that....I look for her to have a breakout year this year.

If AJ does have a breakout year, then I think that would change the entire outlook on the season. If AJ has a breakout year (not quite sure what we would define as breakout) then I would certainly agree with Talia's comment here:

Doesn’t really matter because we aren’t playing a team that makes it matter. Most coaches chose a starting line up based on the other teams match ups. So starters should change a bit every game based on who we play.
