Kwan's first postseason hit was his home run to right. He also had a base hit. In his first at bat, Kwan lined out to first, right at Rizzo. Three great at bats. He basically was all of the Guardians' offense by himself.
Also, I got caught up in the Rookie stats, but the final WAR for AL position players was:
1. Aaron Judge New York Yankees 10.6 2. Andrés Giménez Cleveland Guardians 7.2 3. Yordan Alvarez Houston Astros 6.8 4. Mike Trout Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 6.3 5. Julio Rodríguez Seattle Mariners 6.0 6. José Ramírez Cleveland Guardians 6.0 7. Xander Bogaerts Boston Red Sox 5.7 7. Marcus Semien Texas Rangers 5.7 9. Steven Kwan Cleveland Guardians 5.5 10. Carlos Correa Minnesota Twins 5.4
I heard that on the radio and was entertained by it.

No Kwanny Bombs today..but the Guardians did beat the Spankies...Series tied at 1 ! Game three: In the first, Kwan worked a seven-pitch leadoff double. Josh Naylor drove him home three hitters later. 1-0 Guardians. In the second, Kwan came up with runners on the corners and hit a base hit to drive in the runner on third. 2-0 Guardians. In the fifth, Kwan struck out on six pitches, even though "strike three" was well outside and "strike two" was high. 4-2 Yankees. Kwan flew out to left in the seventh. 5-3 Yankees. In the bottom of the ninth, Kwan, as the tying run, singled to put runners on the corners with one out. Kwan moved over to second after Amed Rosario's RBI base hit to pull the Guardians to within one. Kwan then hustled over to third on José Ramírez' infield single, which may have been a fielder's choice with a slower runner at second. With two outs, Oscar González singled Kwan and then Rosario in to complete the 6-5 win. In game two, Kwan made a great running shoestring catch to end the third, stranding Torres at second and Rizzo at third. The catch kept it a 2-0 game, rather than a 4-0 game, because Torres was running on the pitch. The catch proved important, because the Guardians tied it at two in the fifth and won it in 10. Also, I did not see it posted elsewhere, but Kwan was named Rookie of the Month for September. He finished September with a .325 BA, three home runs, and 14 RBI. Anyway, with the win in game three, Kwan and the Guardians are a game away from the ALCS. I believe that Kwan would be the first Beaver in the ALCS since 2017 (Ellsbury) and the last Beaver to be a regular starter in an ALCS since 2013 (Ellsbury).

Kwanny leads off the game with a knock and steals second. Now 7-15 in the series. MVP Kwan scored the first run, but Ramirez was thrown out at first after taking too big of a turn and not being able to get back to the bag. 3-1 Yankees. If Ramirez was able to get back, Naylor would have had two on and two out. In the fourth, Naylor hit a home run, which would have been worth three in the third. Instead it was only worth one. 3-2 Yankees. Kwan had a sharp hit up the middle in the fifth that unfortunately hit the pitcher to turn into a groundout. Kwan walked in the eighth but was stranded. Kwan is 7/17. Kwan is the best hitter for either team so far. The Guardians need to figure out a way to win the series tomorrow in the Bronx.
