Listening to sports talk radio, a lot of people are talking like Bonds, McGwire and Sosa don't even count. It turns out they cheated to post the stats they did. So they don't count, just as Ben Johnson's 100M record doesn't count, or the # of Lance Armstrong TDF titles and those won by other bike racers on the dope don't count. Do I think steroids helped Bonds hit 13 more homers in a season that he would hat hit playing clean? It's impossible to tell. But the steroids helped him accumulate the number he did hit. Other's mileage may vary. I'm cool with that. |
