Charlie Creme came out with a new Braketology today.
Here are the Pac-12 teams that make the tourney and their seeds. Middle of the conference is probably where the Beavs will be picked in preseason polls.
1 Stanford 5 Arizona 5 Oregon 6 Utah 7 UCLA 11 OSU 11 WSU

Creme needs an off season job.

Not sure why this isn't seen more positively. First, Charlie does a great job at helping keep WBB in the conversation. The NFL manages to find things to keep sports writers talking about that sport year-around, so every league has to fight for air-time perpetually. And the projections, while highly speculative, are not meaningless at all. Consider: a) Oregon State did not make the tourney last year, but he projects they will be back. That's respect to the program in general. b) Add to the above that OSU lost 4 players that had starting experience, and Charlie still sees this team as doing better than last year. Respect. c) It adds more fun to the pre-season schedule. He projects Iowa as a 2 seed, Duke as an 8 seed, and Uconn as a 2 seed, LSU as a 4 seed. We will play 3 of those 4 teams in the pre-season. Whether or not those projections prove to be accurate, it's basically what we have (outside of the polls) as a way to get excited about those games and interpret how this team is measuring up. Bottom line, a great nod from Charlie that the program is still relevant, albeit still on shaky ground for the coming season. www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/30423107/ncaa-women-bracketology-2023-women-college-basketball-projections

It is nice to be remembered as a team that qualifies for the tournament even through a tough schedule. At 11th seed, it would be satisfying to paste a few of those teams he has us lined up against. I already have us up as high as a 3 or 4 seed (one can dream, right?).

As you say it gives WBB fans something to think and talk about as we wait for the season to begin. Charlie knows the national WBB scene as well as anyone, he is just providing a preseason WBB overview of the national landscape. Not sure why this would trigger anyone, at the end of the day it is just entertainment.
