The meet in South Bend has several top-ten teams entered, including #1 NC State. The Beavs are sending 9 runners - after a well-deserved rest from record-setting Indoor and Outdoor seasons, both Kaylee Mitchell and Grace Fetherstonhaugh will be there to represent. The results will be exciting to watch.

There will be seven Beavs competing at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, so there will be a lot of women able to compete this weekend! We're seeing a great team with deep talent.

I'm currently watching a documentary on beavers.
It's the best dam show I have ever seen.

Mitchell was 4th

The Beavs were missing a couple sub-17-minute 5k runners, plus two runners appear to have had issues during the race. It's hard to say what issues, but one missed her PB by nearly 3 minutes.

Even if the team has already had several meets, this was the first meet for most of our fastest runners. It was a great meet to work out the kinks. Also, a freshman and sophomore were able to "score" for the team (not sure of the technical jargon for that).

That’s the correct jargon.

Everything in CC and track is about peaking at the end of the season. It’s like one practice meet after another until regionals.
