Not at all surprising. Don’t these geniuses realize there are multiple LDS players on the *uck roster. Look for this to be used as negative recruiting fodder - I would.

That pit crew apology is woefully insufficient. They limited it to BYU fans. The apology needs to be extended to the Pac-12 Conference and the entire state of Oregon for dragging our state’s name through the mud. |

How about this gem of a post from the Ducks Attack board by some genius called “OregonFan4Life” ”It’s sadly become a tradition for the student section to yell the f word followed by whatever city the opponent is from, not surprised they took it to this level. The student section today is absolutely pathetic, the loudest they are all game is when they’re doing that stupid chant. Unfortunately the only way to get rid of it is to get rid of the student section all together and just have more seating available to the public. Most of those students aren’t from around Eugene and certainly know next to nothing about duck football, they do not represent the city nor the fan base”There you have it. To paraphrase: “uo student section is not representative of the university of oregon”. Okaaayy. Don’t know whether to laugh or shake my head. (p.s. I don’t know how he can state with such certitude that these idiot student fans aren’t from “around Eugene”).  |

Some inappropriate signs directed at USC, I think the really big (and most offensive) one was taken down pretty quickly. It was floating around on twitter over the weekend |

We had a fan throw a bottle on to the field and a fan jump down on to the field to go after a USC player. That fan was arrested. |

In the current environment I wonder if my favorite sign of all time would now elicit a formal apology from the university: You can't spell _umb F_ _ _ _ _ without Ducks. I saw it somewhere. The sign said: You can't spell without USC |
