I am sorry. Neuheisel is a scumbag. He was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Arizona, so I know a lot of people who know the family. And from everything I heard, they are a bunch of scumbags. Neuheisel recruits scumbags. The 2000 Washington Huskies were the scum of the Earth, from the coaches to the players. I loathe Neuheisel, his family, and his players. Neuheisel robbed Oregon State of a National Championship by playing a bunch of murderers and rapists, who should have been in prison rather than on a playing field. I am not forgiving Neuheisel. And I will never forget. I am much more apt to believe that Neuheisel poisoned the well and Gary Barnett did little beyond failing identify and fix the problem in time than I am to believe that Barnett did anything wrong other than him putting his foot in his mouth. No one has facts to the contrary, so I believe that my assertion is correct. ”Murderers”? |

In 1999, Pharms beat up his girlfriend (he gave a statement that she threatened him with a pair of scissors). At a game in 2000, a known associate, unprovoked, beat up the same woman in the stands at Husky Stadium. On March 14, 2000, Pharms shot a man in the chest in a botched robbery. The bullet just missed the victim's liver or otherwise he would have died. The DA waited until after Pharms was drafted in 2001 before prosecuting Pharms. The only charge brought was for felony robbery. The judge indicated that he was very surprised that no attempted murder charge was brought. Pharms was sentenced to 41 months but got out early to play football. After his probation was over, he was charged with DUI and negligently firing a gun without regard for others' safety.
