Anybody know if the soccer team is any good this year? Looks like a rough start after a #5 preseason ranking. Is this the soccer equivalent of the 2001 football team? Unfair expectations due to great success the previous year?

Unfair expectations due to great success the previous year? Last season was the most successful in the history of OSU Soccer: 1. Pac-12 champions - outright 2. #1 national tournament seed. 3. Elite-8, penalty kicks from advancing to final 4. So, they're not likely to be that good again this season. We'll just have to see whether they can compete for another conference championship. I was surprised to see Molina-Diaz back after his severe injury toward the end of last season. |
