How about that high-dollar NIL player suing his teammate for lack of due diligence on a missed block that ended his season. Can’t wait for that mess.

Has a NFL Player ever sued a player over a missed block? Yawn -it probably will never happen. Take a seat on the bench is a great solution.

Players in the NFL pretty much make good money..sure there are the third stringers/practice guys, but the guys who see lots of action each week are all paid well...NIL? Not so much...O lineman gets nada and the QB is getting a lux car and a big wad of Benjamins... Seems to me that it will be a lot harder to promote the "team" mentality at places where the cash is flowing in. But the lure of pro ball probably will keep a lot of the jealousy at bay. My QB does well, and it reflects on me. Still, I'm against the whole idea of monetizing college play. The money, the favors, and the cars have always been there at major schools. But legalizing it wasn't the way to go, IMO.

I don't think it's a mistake. It may kill college football, but I doubt it. It has always seemed to me that it is phenomenally unfair that, in our capitalist society, one of the few classes of people that were not able to maximize their monetary potential were college athletes. I'm glad that they are able to profit off their abilities.
