Oregon State's recruiting activity has been relatively quiet in Colorado since the Bonanza of Justin Boyd and Dallas Macias. Colorado isn't the recruiting Cornocopia that California is but they do produce some exceptional talent every year. The majority of their better prospects gain national exposure playing on elite travel teams and the Cincinnati Reds Area Code team, The Beaver's 2023 class won't include any Colorado commits, but there are two uncommited pitchers in the '24 class I have been following.
Troy Gregory-Alford is the #1 ranked class of 2024 player in Colorado, He is a 6-5, 219 Junior at Coronado HS. A RHP with a solid 4 pitch arsenal than can hum the fastball at 90-92 mph and this summer, touched 93.5 mph. Scouts have tagged him :high ceiling" which could forecast draft potential.
Mitch Haythorn is a RHP from Eaton HS with "high pitchability" (a scout term), Excellent command of an 87-90 fastball with some run, a solid change up and a plus slider that scouts say is among the best they have seen this summer.
Do the Beavs have any interest in these two live arms? I have no idea, but their #1 and #3 ranking in Colorado might suggest that our coaches probably have taken a good look.
FWIW: Colorado's 2025 crop doesn't appear to be up to standard and the top-2 players are already committed.

Maybe that Colorado path is more traveled than I thought. With the Laif Palmer pick up, the Beavers have harvested Colorado's baseball crop for the fourth time in 4 years. The catch has included two highly touted Shortstops and two pitching prospects with high ceilings.
2019 - Justin Boyd, a SS from Parker's Legend HS. 2022 - Tyler Mejia, a RHP from Highlands Ranch- Mountain Ridge HS 2022 - Dallas Macias, a SS from Aurora's Regis Jesuit HS 2023 - Laif Palmer, a RHP from Golden HS
Rawlings-Perfect Game ranked Boyd #3 in Colorado and # 280 nationally. RPG ranked Macias #3 in Colorado and # 227 nationally/ RPG ranked Mejia #29 in Colorado and Top-1000 list nationally RPG ranks Palmer #5 in Colorado and Top-500 list nationally. * RPG ranks the Top-100 players in each Colorado class.
