One of Wayne's great screwball capers was to turn the I-5 median through Eugene orange with poppies. A few of us tried to scatter seeds while driving past, but it never worked.
When it becomes available this fall, have a Jubalale from Deschutes Brewery for Wayne.

And there was the Civil War occasion when another regular tailgater decided to put rubber duckies in the urinals. Wayne and a friend were using the facilities in Reser when a duck fan took offense to the rubber duckies and started throwing his weight around. The guy ended up in a close encounter with one of the rubber duckies. |

Only knew Him on pure orange boards. Always had a good take. Sounds by those close He was kind and very wise. May God hold him close.
