Very well done 1 hr documentary about the successful restaurant and it's unsuccessful Pixieland amusement park.
While I admire the enthusiasm of the owners' amusement park venture, the idea of a seasonal park in that location, open only during the "good weather months", seems flawed from its' inception.

A very cool, iconic place from yesteryear. What is now Lincoln City, wasn’t the busy, touristy place it is today and the Pixie Kitchen was always busy. A very different era.

We visited Pixieland once (1974?) when my brother and I were still preschoolers - I don't remember much but we have photos that showed we had fun with our cousins. If the lack of income from being a seasonal amusement park located away from population centers didn't lead to its demise, I doubt that place would have survived decades of winter weather and erosion.
