The Beavers beat Trinity Western 4-1 in an exhibition on Saturday. McKenna Martinez scored twice. They host Seattle at 5 p.m. Friday in another exhibition.
Brianna McReynolds is no longer on the team. She has transferred to WSU. There was some tension between the staff and her last year, supposedly over putting team before self. Sounds like that situation self-resolved.

Sounds better than putting self before the team, but I'm probably missing something. I hope she does well at Wazzu - unless they're playing us.

Exhibition slate is over, and the women start the season with a draw and a win.
Draw against Eastern Washington, 1-1. Thanks to a PK save by Hailey Coll in the second half, and the equalizer by Caroline Duncan with an assist by Amber Jackson at the 88'. Shot totals were 23-9 (13-3 on goal) in favor of OSU.
Win over Wyoming 4-1. Brace by McKenna Martinez and goals from Amber Jackson and Ava Benedetti. Shot total, 21-7 (7-3 on goal) in favor of OSU.
