Not now. They pulled the new courthouse out of the proposed bond measure, which never would have passed otherwise and probably still won't. |

They are planning to do this outside the bond measure. We shall see. They still have to go through the eminent domain process to get the land. |

I served on jury duty as an 18 year old OSU student in that courthouse 40+ years ago. It was a dump then. Looks nice from the outside though. |

I’m pretty sure you’ll look like s%#t at that age too. My point? Maybe it’d be a good project for the McMenamins when the county moves out. BTW, I read that Clackamas County is also going to be replacing their courthouse in Oregon City in the near future. It’s only 86 years old. www.clackamas.us/courthouse |

Lots of stuff grandfathered in at the courthouse. I'd think bringing it up to seismic and ADA code (as just a start) with a change of ownership would be cost-prohibitive.
