Not now. They pulled the new courthouse out of the proposed bond measure, which never would have passed otherwise and probably still won't.

They are planning to do this outside the bond measure. We shall see. They still have to go through the eminent domain process to get the land.

I served on jury duty as an 18 year old OSU student in that courthouse 40+ years ago. It was a dump then. Looks nice from the outside though.

I’m pretty sure you’ll look like s%#t at that age too. My point? Maybe it’d be a good project for the McMenamins when the county moves out. BTW, I read that Clackamas County is also going to be replacing their courthouse in Oregon City in the near future. It’s only 86 years old. www.clackamas.us/courthouse

Lots of stuff grandfathered in at the courthouse. I'd think bringing it up to seismic and ADA code (as just a start) with a change of ownership would be cost-prohibitive.
