Baseball America lists only one Beaver recruit on their TOP-100 High School draft prospects in 2023, LHP Paul Wilson at number 72.
UO has two top ranked recruits on the list, SS Eric Bitonti from San Bernardino, CA. at number 7 and RHP Noble Meyer from Portland's Jesuit at number 9. If those two maintain their high profile as prospects - They are early signings next year.
It's too early to worry about Wilson, some are still grieving over the loss of Gough, who everybody had headed to college. Even the Mariner's front office was shocked that he was a possible signing.
