Drew Gilbert #28 to Houston. Hope they like jackasses Tony Vitello praising a kid's character seems...like not exactly a great endorsement. That whole program makes for great villains though.

Beavers from Cal off to play with Adley. Go Beavs! Had to read that twice. Good for him.

Spencer Jones (Vandy) off the board at 25. He’s one of the only OF I watched this season that impressed me more than Melton. He’s gotta be one of the tallest OF ever drafted Fun fact: As of last month, unless you count the time that Randy Johnson played left field, the tallest three position players to ever play the game were all 6'8": Tony Clark, Nate Freiman, and Richie Sexson. Tony Clark actually started in the outfield before being moved to first base in the Minors. I believe that Clark is the tallest outfielder ever drafted into the Majors, even though he only played one game in left in his entire major league career. Nate Freiman only ever played at first. Richie Sexson was drafted to be a first baseman in the 24th round of the 1993 draft. He played 112 games at both corner outfield positions, though, in his 12-year major league career. 6'7" Billy Ashley was a third-rounder in 1988. 6'7" Aaron Judge was a first-round pick out of Fresno in 2013. The Spencer Jones/Aaron Judge comparisons have already started. 6'7" Taylor Jones was primarily a first baseman but played outfield in the majors. Jones was a 19th-rounder out of Gonzaga in 2016. I believe that is the list of players 6'7" or taller making it to the majors in the outfield. Dave Winfield was only 6'6"

Oniel Cruz of the Pirates is a 6'7 shortstop. That's crazy to me.

Well that answers the biggest draft question. Boyd with a 900k slot and a shot at the dream!

Hjerpe #22 to St. Louis. I believe that’s 5-10 Slots higher than expected. 6th pitcher and first Leftie. Highest drafted OSU pitcher? Can’t remember Everything I read suggested that the Mariners were going to take him at 21.
