The last time that Oregon State finished a season going 1-2 to an SEC West team, the Beavers finished as National Champions the year following.

Yeah if you find trends in random data that have nothing to do with team or individual performance then totally.
I’d go with a strong roster of young players to anchor the order like Baz, Donkey and Smith with a young and experienced bullpen and the possibility of some big time pitchers coming back from injury…that and one of the better recruiting classes in our history with a coaching staff that’s trending up.
…probably the SEC west thing though

With a potentially strong recruiting class, and the portal,I think osu could have a very strong team again. Expect us to lose multiple fringe players to the portal...lots of potential in next years roster.

SEC West..... . 2017/2018 More important factors are: a.) who the Beavers put on the diamond in 2023...b.) and how they fare with the injury bug.

It seemed like there was a lot of negative waves on the board. I am not a fan of fan negativity. I believe that it tends to feed on itself. When that happens, I like to try and post something that will be uplifting. I am sorry, if it was too much of a stretch. The last time Oregon State lost two-of-three to an SEC team to end a season, Oregon State turned around the following year, beat that same team in the Corvallis Regional and then beat two other SEC West teams four more times in Omaha. I see that as a fun factoid. I might be wrong. But at least there is some chatter that is stemming from it about what next year could look like that is at least somewhat positive.

Not a fan of negativity? Greg Fuchs and his parents would disagree. They’re not a fan of you.

Optimism should be based on something or it’s probably going to fall dead Wilky. It’s the difference between getting your palm read and statistical probability of surviving a cancer diagnosis. One might feel good for a bit but if you buy into junk you may miss the useful information. Optimism Isnt natural for long term Beaver fans who are rightfully about the least optimistic fan base in college sports. We celebrate every first down for a reason lol. Make a detailed post about actual reasons to be optimistic and you’ll probably get a lively debate. The post was just silly junk so you got dunked on.
