So WHY isn't Annie getting recruited?? Should we start a letter writing campaign for her to walk on??

Enjoyed that interview, especially the pictures of them when they were younger. Thanks for posting.

Kennedie’s skill set is impressive, but Davis Douglas is not even decent. They’re currently a bottom barrel 6A team with only three wins on the season. And Barlow won 91-30.

Shuler's passing skills look very good. Speed seems to be decent at the very least. She should be able to help right away, though I still think Rueck should try hard to bring in a PG through the portal as well. It would be cool if Koenig decided to walk on. The difficult thing to judge is her ability to adjust to the athletic level of Pac-12 basketball. Is she fast enough to get up and down the court with everyone? Probably. I have a feeling that a lot of her 3s at the high school level are pretty wide open. She would have to show the ability to get open on the perimeter and shoot under pressure.

RE: Koenig and other h.s. shooters....
I don't spend as much time watching films as a lot of fans.....Especially high-lite reels....
I will say, however, that the "film" I saw of Blacklock before her knee injury was the best I have ever seen of a h.s. girl basketball player. Her range was remarkable, her dribble-stop-get vertical was absolutely great.... I told anyone who would listen that she would be an instant impact OSU player as a Frosh.... In terms of delivery, and range, she was (in my mind) in the same league as Tudor and Syd Wiese....She was totally impressive....
Fast forward a couple of years and she is now at OSU and she has not delivered any shooting performances of consequence in the 1st 2/3 of her first season..... A total mystery to me.......I wish I could spend a week in the gym watching her....But that's not in the cards....
Here is my amateur conclusion: If she does not portal out this year it will be because Rueck has told her that tremendous shot of her's will eventually arrive and it is worth the wait.... If Rueck does not believe in her shot, he will let her know in coach-speak - and she will then head back to somewhere within shooting distance of West Texas.....
Based on the film I watched, I honestly thought she would be the most impactful of the 4 incoming Frosh. So much for my skills at assessing film, and talent.
But, truthfully, I believe that someone on the WBB staff in the corridors of Gill made the same mistake I did. Maybe two of them!! GO BEAVS!!!

Hopefully there will be some information/opinions/answers from the group. It would appear that if she was not physically ready to play she would have been redshirted would she not?
Am I correct that she has played too much already and thus has used up one year already? If so what does that mean in terms of how talented she actually is compared to what you believe you saw?

Hey 411500, the first film I saw of Adlee, I pronounced her a top 50 recruit. After her injury. I haven't seen any film of her looking that good again. I still have high hopes for her. I don't know how good of a player she may become, but I do think she has the skills to be a solid contributor in the years to come. I hope it is at Oregon State.

The difference I saw with Adlee was that she used to play very aggressively, and in the beginning of the season I saw none of that. But as the season has went along she seems to have gotten that back to some extent. I think the ability is still there, she just needs to get over the psychological block of coming back from the surgery?
Really hope she hangs tough and gives it another year.

The OSAA 6A Basketball Tournament's final 8 Teams will be played March 8-11. Hopefully we can watch Kennedie Schuler (Barlow) & Donovyn Hunter (South Medford) assuming they make it to the quarterfinals. www.osaa.org/activities/gbx/brackets
