You’re a little easy on Track, must be grading on a curve.

They won almost twice as many matches compared to basketball. Give the coach an extension!

You’re a little easy on Track, must be grading on a curve. Yeah. Earning points at nationals for the first time since 1986 is why I gave them a high grade.

Football...B...we broke losing streaks versus USC,Utah,Stanford, and Washington. Haven't been to a bowl for awhile.
Baseball...B or B+...the goal is Omaha and the Beavers came up short. Not an A imo.

Football...B...we broke losing streaks versus USC,Utah,Stanford, and Washington. Haven't been to a bowl for awhile. Baseball...B or B+...the goal is Omaha and the Beavers came up short. Not an A imo. I am super confused. Are we grading teams against themselves or against the other teams. FootballOregon State beat USC at the Coliseum for the first time since 1960. Stanford 2009. Washington 2011. Utah 2013. First bowl game since 2013. Oregon State lost the Civil War in Eugene, but that has been true since 2007. It was the Beavers' best Civil War since 2013. I mean we all watched the best Oregon State football team in nine years, and that is a C? Or even a B? A- at least. It probably would have been an A with another win or two. BaseballOregon State had the fourth-best regular season in program history. Oregon State won a Regional for only the eighth time in program history, and only the second time without Pat Casey in the dugout. You probably see at least one Beaver in the first round and maybe two. And then Oregon State is one hit or pitch short in the Super Regional, and it is a B? I mean Oregon State's RPI is still fourth. The problem is that the Beavers were paired in the Super Regional with a team that is now sixth. At least 250 teams would kill for the season that the Beavers had. And it is a B? I personally find that ridiculous. That is A work at least. Cooper Hjerpe getting sick at almost the worst time imaginable does not poison what was a phenomenal season. As an aside, we we had Adley Rutschman get mono before the 2019 Corvallis Regional, and we had Cooper Hjerpe get sick and mess up the 2022 Super Regional. When are we going to be on the right side of illness? Why couldn't Sonny D come down with something on the plane flight to Corvalis? We also had the Luke Heimlich story come out right before the Super Regional in 2017. Oregon State easily could have been in the hunt for National Championships in 2017, 2019, and 2022 but for some poorly-timed luck.

Cool list. I would ramp up football to a B or B+. If they had performed better in the bowl, B+ or A-.

The C grade for football is ridiculous imo. We went to a bowl game for the first time in almost 10 years and that rates a C? Mitch Canhams goal every year is to go to Omaha and compete for a national title. That is why the team broke huddle every practice with Omaha. This team didn't make Omaha which is what this team was very capable of. Didn't say they had a bad year...far from it. A very good year, but not an "A" grade.

When was the last time that a team not coached by Pat Casey took a team to Omaha? I know that it is a goal, but the fourth-best regular season of all time should not be wiped out by Cooper Hjerpe getting sick at one of the absolute worst times.
