I guess I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum of the OP. I was at the game today. Arkansas travels extremely well. Out of the 24k fans today I would say at least half were Arkansas fans based on their cheering.
I was going for the Pac12 on this one and told the family I couldn't wait for all those pig sooie cheering folks to yet again cry all the way back to Fayettesville
I was happy that ND and Ole Miss have won so far, sad for Claunch and Yeskie. But then I remembered 2018, Beavs lost game 1, so there is hope

Speaking of bad places . . . . the worst spot I've ever seen is Trona, CA. My sister had gotten a post-bacc in education at Cal Poly Pomona and she took a job at Trona HS (home of the Tornadoes). She and her then-husband moved to Ridgecrest because he had a job at China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station. Ridgecrest is plenty bad but Trona was beyond belief. They mine borax there and the dust precludes anything from growing. Even if you had water, the dust would suffocate it. So, I've never been to Indianola, MS, but I think I'd take that in a heartbeat over Trona. I might throw Coalinga, CA into that discussion. One trip 32 years ago (this month) to SoCAL (we still call it our "trip authorized by HELL").....Nevermind. Long story short....we had to spend a couple hours in that hellHOLE (hospital) when it was 112 degrees....IN THE SHADE! "Coal Station Number 1." No s%#t. I read that on some "history" of the place whilst in the waiting room. AC puked in Redding....BELT. Stayed overnight in Sacramento. POOL! Woke up at THREE AM to "beat the heat." SILLY ME. Ate some breakfast outside of Stockton (Denny's). Eldest child, of three(9, 6, 2) , wasn't hungry got TERRIBLE stomach cramps, just south of Los Banos (I think). Turned at the next BLUE "H" sign. Thank you, Lord! Twelve miles WEST later...it's now 110....no AC.....in a Chrysler MINIVAN (T and C)...... He's really sick. I'm thinking appendicitis, or WORSE. Carried him into the ER. The ER doc was......and I'm NOT being cruel, insensitive, or ANYTHING....smelled of tobacco smoke (strongly), and weighed.....CONSERVATIVELY.....450 lbs. Not ONE ounce less. He examined my son....gave him some "elixir," called his condition gastroenteritis....and sent us on our way. Told us to seek our pediatrician's advice......This is on a Sunday....of course. A few miles down the road....and I'm HAULIN' ASS to get OUT of the valley of death, and over the grapevine to COOLER climes.....He...my son starts to hallucinate. He's rolling down windows with a "crank," talking jibberish.... scaring hell out of us....well, not ALL of us. My six year old son was laughing hysterically because of the things the eldest was saying....and rolling down window with NON-EXISTENT crank....Two year old daughter was CRYING because of the overwhelming heat....Note....when it's THAT HOT, driving faster only creates a JET ENGINE HEAT effect......Like a crematorium...............................................................All ended well. Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Coronado, swimming with dolphins....it happened.....kinda. Turns out he was allergic to codiene which the large doc included in the magic elixir to help him relax. The TRIP authorized by HELL ended well. That first twenty four hours, though.........
