How is North Carolina barely ahead of Cal? Hasn’t NC been pretty consistently good while I can only remember one really good Cal team. Maybe I’m only really paying attention when OSU has deep runs…

Maybe I’m only really paying attention when OSU has deep runs… seems ridiculous to me. Multiple college world series appearances vs, what, 1 or 2 for Cal? Two runners up for the championship for UNC vs none for Cal? One golden spikes winner should not change that math that much. Seems dumb to me.

What is the criteria? Or is this a random fan on Twitter "throwing darts against the wall." My assumption is its the best teams since 2000. I guess it could be greatest teams in one year like we were in 2017.
If I was setting this up, I would go off regional appearances, super regional appearances, trips to Omaha, and National Championships. There are some strange picks on this list & some good teams noticeable missing.
Michigan was runner-up to Vandy in 2019, it was their 1st trip to Omaha since 1984.
Cal went to Omaha in 2011 for the 1st time since 1992. IMO they're aren't even top 5 for Pac12 teams let alone all of college baseball. (Oregon St, UCLA, Arizona, Stanford, & Arizona St have better resumes the last 22 years)
Coastal Carolina won it in 2016 & have made the tournament a number of times, I haven't checked their numbers so I won't offer an opinion. Same with Fresno St who beat Georgia in 2008. Both of these teams won a championship but I don't have a lot of memories of them "making noise" in the other 21 years.
Two teams I would put above Michigan and Cal would be TCU & Louisville.
Just my two insignificant cents.

Also Texas Tech should be on this list. Hosted a super regional 5 consecutive years before this year. 4 trips to Omaha in past 10 years.

All criticism aside, I love the Pac 12 showing. Nearly half the conference.

This account that posted this is some random dude that puts out lists every single day for college sports that are completely pulled out of nowhere. Two days ago he ranked the top 50 OC's in college football. Lindgren was at 45 and Graham Harrell (now at WVU after being awful at USC) as 5.
