Saw report that San Francisco transfer Dzmitry Ryuny has committed to Oregon State. The 6’9” senior battled injuries last year and played limited minutes. Averaged 9.4 points, and 5.5 rebounds during previous season, while shooting 37% from 3.
I thought Beavers were at their schollie limit, so not sure if he’s walk on or if someone else has left. Anyone know?

Seems there will be a departure. Too bad we lost Lucas. I am not sold on our roster.

Not sure if Choi will play at osu...jmo Good call. Feel bad for him and his height would have been nice, but kind of hoping it is him cuz no one else from last year’s roster that I want to see go. If this new kid is healthy, could be a decent add. Despite not playing much last year, he did have 6 points and 6 rebounds in 18 minutes against ASU. Previous year he had 10 and 4 against UVA, 19 and 10 against Rhode Island, 12 and 2 against Nev, 5 and 6 against Cal and 9 and 7 against Oregon. If he can provide some some 3-pt shooting and collect 5 or so rebounds a game, he’ll help. Anyone know what his injury issues were this past year?

Talked to Wayne this weekend at Goss he likes Ryuny, one on the current roster (no idea who) hasn’t been holding up his end of responsibility’s and will be leaving. He hinted another body will be added in the near future.

Was HM-all WCC is 3rd year, and is a grad transfer. Injury plagued him last year, and that was a loaded team (USF finished with a NET rating of 26, but still only earned. #10 seed). He's in a crowded position at USF, so the move definitely looks to be about playing time in is last year of eligibility. If he gets back to his junior year form of 9.5ppg and 5.5 rpg, he seems a likely starter. He also hasn't shot under 37% from 3pt range in his career until last year (where he shot poorly, in limited minutes). Big question will be his defense and that he's actually fully recovered.
