In Omaha, after a heavy rain storm causing a rain delay, I think it was in 2017, the infield started filling up with water. It ponded behind home plate. Suddenly two ducks circled around and landed,and were paddling around. I commented that this was the only way the ducks were ever going to get to Omaha.
Moments later, the water started draining out, and the ducks flew off.
