Everyone looks at his hitting, but his defense has been outstanding as well. He digs out throw after throw and stops everything that comes his way!

He is a solid first baseman. I love his even-keeled personality; it’s all business out there.

Coaches have been working with Garrett to hit it out front and release the barrel to use his pull-side power. Last night we saw it with a towering blast to LF.
A "Donkey Dinger"
The boy is coachable!

Its good to see him pulling the ball more, instead of hitting everything up the middle & the other way. He'll pop a few more out of the park if he "yanks it" once in awhile. Nice on the coaches for working on it with him.....good on them.

The Minnesota Twin's hitting instructors have worked with Larnach on the same issue. Trevor is working on rolling the bottom hand over and releasing the barrel. Converting that + + off field power to his pull side is bound to increase the HR production.
