It is good to see Vandy using #1-2 starter.

Stocker complaining on the TV broadcast that Block 15 didn't have a big screen so he could watch the NBA Finals or some other nonsense.
I like the guy, but Block 15 isn't a sports bar, ace. It's like going to Clod's and complaining you can't get prime rib or surf and turf.

It is good to see Vandy using #1-2 starter. McElvain at 114 pitches. They're up 16-1 . Odd that a coach would allow a first line starter to accumulate 114 pitches with that sort of lead. Must be saving all other arms for another day (vs. Beavs or SD).

There really needs to be a 10 run rule.

If I'm in Corvallis for a premier college baseball event, and settled in at Block 15 for a spell, I'm digging on the beer offerings, and not bemoaning some NBA blah blah blah event.

It is good to see Vandy using #1-2 starter. That leaves Futrell to pitch next. What's your preference for comparing pitchers: ERA? WHIP? or Batting Average Against ? Holton (pitched on 6/3) on the season - .192 BAA / 3.14 ERA / 1.06 WHIP McElvain (pitched on 6/4) on the season - .209 BAA / .454 ERA / 1.32 WHIP Futrell (next up) on the season - .225 BAA / .377 ERA / 1.03 WHIP It looks like the assessments that have slighted the Vandy pitching staff a bit, might need a second look. The top 3 starters are all quality pitchers. Hard to recall a quality pitcher that the Beavs have hit well against, lately.

Futrell has thrown exactly three games against SEC competition, giving up at least four runs in each game and failing to get out of the third in most. His ERA against SEC competition is 12.10. He put up great numbers against Evansville, Central Arkansas, Hawai'i, Lipscomb, Austin Peay, Western Kentucky and Tennessee Tech, though. He got rocked by Belmont. I will continue to slight the Vandy pitching staff, especially now that Holton and McElvain have thrown.
