I see Ken Goe has an article out on O-Live about how the new Hayward Field is all flash but just functionally inadequate supposedly and full of "warts" if you catch the drift of the limited description of his article available to non-subscribers:

Because it was built to satisfy the bottomless ego of one person only. It’s no surprise that it’s an excessive, ill-conceived monstrosity.

And it speaks volumes about that institution.
