Probably got a positive covid test. Coach said it wasn't injury or discipline. Would explain why she wasn't even in the dugout for game #1. |

Probably got a positive covid test. Coach said it wasn't injury or discipline. Would explain why she wasn't even in the dugout for game #1. She did say it was unfortunate and out of her control. I believe she said they hoped to have her back today?? If Covid she'd have said she's out for the tournament unless they get thru the weekend?? I'd say it was some "other" type of ailment that was severe enough to keep from the game... female related? Food poisoning? Other? Or... hopefully not, some family news that was in the "catastrophic" realm?? In any case I hope she and hers are fine. Not sure her presence made a difference yesterday, but today would be awesome if she could somehow play at near or 100%. Knocking out another Pac12 foe would be nice. |

My first thought was family emergency. Like you said hopefully not. I dont think Covid either or they would have said that I believe. Hopefully she's back soon |
