"Not so fast my friend" . . . . .
Read that quote carefully: "Beavers head coach Mitch Canham said today that he will likely return to his normal weekend rotation of Hjerpe, Kmatz, Pfennigs."
Key word = LIKELY
That's an opening and keep in mind Coach Canham has every right to change his mind at any time from now until game time.
jes sayin . . .

Why not keep the opponent guessing on who to prepare for.....seems like a no brainer You don't really keep anyone guessing. It's not like you take a different BP. You may have a lefty throw, but they don't have the same angle/ release. Each team has a complete scouting report of each pitcher. When a starter is announced they know his "stuff", and their lineup can be altered if so. It's far more a "what does OSU want" than effing with the opponent.

So MC has the ability to still choose whatever starter he wants. Good, glad we have that covered.

I understand all that, but to completely dismiss it is silly. Baseball is mental. Opposing teams not sure about who they are facing on the other side, in any sport, can be an advantage.
