Don’t know how many of you have an opinion about this but here goes: First of all I hate league tourneys. Always have. But since money talks, at least make it like, for example, basketball, single elimination, one and done. Does not stress out the pitching staff, benefits primarily the lower teams, who didn’t do well during regular season and really has very little impact ranking wise on high ranked teams going into the tourney. I believe the Beavs were going to get a regional and more than likely a super any way. The regional have enough stress on the pitching staff as it is with its double elimination format. Would be curious if someone can persuade me otherwise. Go Beavs

Hence, the setup of our postseason tourney. Next year if OSU is in the position of Cal, UW, ASU I'm betting our team/fan base would like the extra chance to earn a NCAA berth.

Don't hate the PAC-12 tournament at all. It can be a great benefit to get experience playing back to back to back days and finding out who can step up. This year was not needed for osu to shine to get into the NCAA tournament, but what if osu had a year like 2008 where they were playing well late and needed a win or two to get in? We didn't get in and a p-12 tourney could have put us over the top. Injuries...everyone is tired and hurt now. The season is a long grind.
