Indians-Mariners 2001 is the only thing that I can think of that is somewhat close to this.

Cubs / Phillies sometime in the late 70's. Phils win 23-22 after being up 21-9. Wind was blowing out at Wrigley that day.

One that comes close from my memory - 1982 AFC Playoffs, San Diego at Miami, 41-38 in OT. San Diego had led 24-0 and then later trailed 38-31 needing a strip and a late TD to force OT. Then both teams missed game winning FGs before the third one won the game.

a crazier game...in any sport..for any teams vs what happened in today's 1st game vs the bruins? Not just OSU games but any game, any time, any where? Down big early Storm back to take a big lead Give up big lead and lost in OT? 1974 Notre Lame vs USC Notre Lame up 24-0 before USC scored just before half. USC went on to win 55-24. It was beautiful! Unfortunately, the Lamers had a very similar comeback against USC not too many years ago, but out of fear of puking I won’t bother to look it up. I was at that game, with my Dad, who was a USC alum. A ND guy sitting next to us left at halftime to get a beer. He was 3-4 minutes late getting into his seat, after halftime. He looked up at the scoreboard, staggered, swore, and spilled his beer. There were fights between SC and ND fans, in the parking lot, after the game. Pure bedlam. But what an amazing comeback.

Indians-Mariners 2001 is the only thing that I can think of that is somewhat close to this. We lived in Seattle back then and were huge Mariner Fans. My Family and I were visiting relatives in Medford watching the game. I think it was like 14-2 (Mariners) in the 7th and we felt the games was well in hand. We decided to take the kids to the park. Came back a little later to find the Mariners lost. 😠
