I enjoyed seeing Melton’s winning hit drop in front of that little runt with the microscopic strike zone (who played his ass off). Take that, Eddie Gaedel.

If, like me, the first game was too much for you so you only listened to the second, then you missed Dernedde as Spider-man. His defense hasn't been stellar this weekend, but he saved 2 runs on the spidy grab. I swear.....the ball got by him & was rolling in leftfield, but it was just a hallucination. Stickum on the glove works😀

Stickum on the glove works😀 Defense has been tough. I don’t envy the infielders standing there in some of those long, long innings. In the baking sun. On that concrete they call dirt. Yuck. But on that play, it really looks like he got the ball after it had passed him by. Maybe just my old eyes. But that was an amazing catch.
