NEVER MESS WITH THE ROTATION It was Hjerpe-Kmatz-Pfennigs for weeks and months (Okay, more like month than months). Why try and reinvent the wheel? Because Pfennigs pitched better against UCLA than Kmatz. Pfennigs didn't get an umpire to his liking. It happens. This does not happen, if you don't let Carpenter give up five runs and then throw Victor Quinn for four pitches. Terrible pitching decisions in the ninth cost Oregon State what was great strategy for eight innings.

Ferrer is getting too much of the plate, especially when he is ahead. Both Bruin hits were 2 strikes and completely over the white

And the Beavers are suppose to try and comeback without Meckler, Boyd, Logan, and a banged up Melton? There are so many holes in the lineup. As well as the usual bottom of the order suspects.

Just insane. We scored four against them in the first then go quiet despite them being shorter on arms than us. Just no excuse.

Just a horrible last three weeks. Hopefully we can start clean next weekend but have to wonder. Oregon State needs to get through today and reset.

I am fine with guys sitting out if they are even the slightest bit nicked up. Actually, I am surprised Melton is still out there.

UCLA just put in an infielder with no pitches on the season. Makes sense as Jewett was massively over average PC. This could get weird.

Bottom of the seventh for the Beavers Big Dukart strikes out, one away Dernedde flies out to center, two away Trosky HBP, one on Wild pitch, Trosky on second Bazzana walks, two on Forrester grounds out to first
7-6 UCLA after 7

that’s not Dukes 0-2 approach. He prefers to go down looking to an infielder.
