Carpenter= BP pitching machine again Which scares me for the postseason when we're playing teams that hit the heat so well. He's got to get his stuff under control. Here's hoping for next year.

Wow. What was that we just watched?! A complete meltdown. Much worse than the meltdown and almost loss at Nevada. Careful, you’ll trigger nuclear. Do not use meltdown in this thread. Lol

Exactly. Only Ferrer is actually a good pitcher this season Hjerpe is one of the best pitchers in the country. What? no of the available arms I listed. We have tons of good pitchers. Ferrer is just the only good relief arm still available today.

The pitching just crumbled, due to: Heat, concrete infield, wind, nerves, and a strike zone the size of a dinner plate.
It went that way for both teams, 47 runs, 270 pitches by the Beavs, 257 thrown by the Bruins. No pitcher had sustained success today.

You can not fake to an empty base. Third and second were occupied. Sorry... I wasn't in the stadium, just clarifying the rule.

Our pitchers trying to anything near it was the problem.

Kind of a he said she said. I’d say it was bigger than three leafless pineapples.
