PO would've lived again if Lucky would have allowed someone else to help fix the Denial of Service attacks (people said they offered to help but no dice). It's not a high priority for him, obviously and it appears he was satisfied to just see it die.

Lucky ran them for nearly 20 years.. and if he let someone else fix it, he had to keep running it. Sometimes it's just best to let it die and enjoy retirement. |

The Porch would have been very entertaining during the Malheur standoff through the election this year and beyond...Alas, folks on these boards find the idea of a political board about as appetizing as a poopy flavored lollipop.

Apparently Lucky didn't want to give up control of the board, but also couldn't take the time to fix it, and here we are. P-O arose when Ben Summers had to let go of Beaver Sports Central, and it sure looks like it was time for Lucky to turn the reins over to someone else. That he didn't do so is too bad...

I think it is time to let P-O and Lucky off the hook. We all got endless hours of entertainment and information courtesy of Lucky's efforts and now we have Benny's House. It's all good!

I really don't like the format of this message board. Some familiar names around, but I find the format tedious and difficult to maintain a proper conversation. For all of its "out-datedness" P-O was actually a usable format. |

I too liked the outdated format of PO better than this, but I'm grateful for both sites and think if I'm not going to start my own I have no business complaining  I've met so many awesome people bc of Beaver message boards! Hope to meet more of you in the future |
