Gretler (3 for 26) and Dernedde (7 for 56) are hitting .122 since the Stanford series (so since basically start of April). Insanity? I don't get it. We have two freshman that have more upside in the long run. Let Guerra and Trosky develop. Don't be silly, it's not like they are hitting .348 and .298.....oh wait.... And don't give me the D argument, at least on Dernedde who has not been his best the last 5 games |

Exactly what I was thinking. It’s hard to win games with 2 automatic outs in the lineup. Why do they keep starting? Because the other two guys are also automatic outs. Dukart actually .263 in same time period with 38 ABs (more than Gretler)...and see Guerra/Trosky avg above |

Beavers better find a lower half of the lineup production. That and the announcers stated the Beavers were batting in the lower .200's in May. It has drastically gone down month to month during the season.
