Arizona's Silseth is already playing for the Angels? That's crazy! And Rutschman is still in AAA.

Glad to see they used a shot of Kasper in his home run trot mode! Just how I remember his pinch hit in the bottom of the ninth.

Don't know if they need a catcher, but they need Adley!

Stupidity. Look where they are. No Boog Powell. No great shortstop. No pitching. And they are cheap.

Baltimore is actually starting to play much better. It has assembled some decent young talent. It's just been stupid in keeping Rutschman in the minors for dubious financial/control reasons, when he should have been in MLB sometime last summer.
They preserved a year of control. And may have guaranteed he never signs a second contract with them, like Chris Bryant and the Cubs.
Their starting catcher last night is hitting .141. Believe it or not, that's one point higher than their other starting catcher, who is hitting .140. Their catchers have a combined 15 hits, one homer, five RBIs and six runs scored in 107 at-bats. That's pitiful. They are absolutely giving away 11% of their team at-bats.
At this point every MILB at-bat for Adley is a waste for the Orioles because those ABs should be at the MLB level. He's also lost about 1/2 year in MLB service time.

Arizona's Silseth is already playing for the Angels? That's crazy! And Rutschman is still in AAA. Orioles' GM has been criticized quite a bit for holding several young talented players in the minors. He's had a lot of pressure to rush them up and to his credit (if his plan works out in long run) he's stuck to his plan of bringing the players along gradually.

In the NFL, I understand the logic behind bringing them along gradually. Football is dangerous. But MLB? What’s the point?
