Will playing in 100 degree temp in Tucson impact the way we play?

I don't think so, and here's why. We play in mild/cooler weather every spring, and when we go to Omaha and it's upper 90's and 90% humidity it didn't seem to affect us. The heat/humidity is truly stifling in Omaha, in June......if anything the dry heat of ARZ will be a good prep for Omaha weather.

It averages about 35% higher than PHX area in June. Playing in dry heat is much easier than high humidity. Just the excessive sweating wears on you, let alone many pitchers find the ball "heavy" and gripping pitches more difficult. There are days in Omaha you hope for cooling rains as it can be stifling and uncomfortable just standing/sitting watching. The late games are so much more comfy. For those thinking on going and buying tix on the secondary market... buy cheap tix and utilize the stand up bar on the shaded (sometimes even breezy) concourse. Even though you are standing you're not sweat glued to your seat, you're in the shade, you're close to beverages, great view. Get a spot early, make friends to hold your spot for bathroom and beverages runs! And, bring more shirts than you'd ever expect to use!

The games in Arizona,I've heard, are like playing on blacktop. Very fast surface. Rock hard. I don't think the heat will bother osu too much with hydration. I'm sure the kids will welcome playing in the sun...

It will be an adjustment. Low Humidities and 100 plus. I spent July down in Desert in Calif and it was 116. It can be worse. Infield will be very fast. Let ‘s get the first one Friday. What some of their players said baffled Me a little. First comment was “if we sweep them” than later they said “ even though we lost 4 of 6 we are having fun. Let the fun began.

Golf course right next door to get a round in and good food/drink near by. Sunday 12pm game will be 🔥! Plus tix are usually $5 or so! First year not going since it's so close to Pac12 tourney.

My wife and I went to Omaha in the 2018 World Series and I purchased some closer tickets behind home plate .....we weathered the hot temperatures for an hour in the sun only to get under some shade with everyone else. Plus we lost that first game....but after that we didn’t loose except for game 1 of the championship
