Looks like Kaylee Mitchell finished 5th in the 5000-meter run with a school record time of 15:59.70, edging the old record of 16:00.93 set by Grace F. last year. That puts us past the highest point total since restarting the T&F program in 2005.
Grace did not start the race today. Hope she's okay - we'll see if the coach mentions anything in tonight's write-up.
The 4x400 relay is the last event remaining. Hoping they can break the school record, but they're not seeded very high.

Grace has the 5K record, 15:58.93. Mitchell's was a PR for her.

Regional entries are based off of seasonal performance. The country is split into an East and West Region. Top 48(other than Dec/Hep) times/marks compete in regionals and the top 12 from each Region make up the 24 competitors for Nationals. This year the West Regional is being held in Fayetteville AR. Try starting here: TFRRS to look up eligible athletes per event. A quick search for example shows Moersdorf not eligible in the TJ but squeaks in (#47) for the LJ.

The NCAA has quite a sense of humor to host a "west" regional in Arkansas. Well, I guess it is west for an SEC school, which is what the NCAA cares about.
