Team Record GB Remaining Schedule
Oregon State 15-6 Oregon, @arizona, UCLA
UCLA 14-7 1 @washington, WSU, @oregon State
Arizona 13-8 2 @usc, Oregon State, @oregon
Oregon 13-8 2 @oregon State, @asu, Arizona
Stanford 12-9 3 Cal, @utah, USC
Things are going to get interesting down the stretch.
UCLA has to be the biggest concern at this point. They probably won't, but could sweep the next 2 series and be 20-7 going into the final series against Oregon State.
The Beavers clearly have the toughest remaining schedule. IF they can win each series, they should finish 1st (even if UCLA wins their next 6 conference games).
It's a good thing that Stanford is 3 games back because they have the easiest schedule. That's not to say that they can't catch up, but I would be pretty worried about Stanford if they were within a game of us.
Oregon and Arizona are both right there as well, but have to play the Beavs as well as each other.
Excited to see how this unfolds. Hopefully the Beavers take care of business and the rest won't matter.

Not saying we'd ever dump a game but I can't imagine one loss at that late juncture would have much if any effect on tournament seeding. On the other hand, you obviously play to win each time out and to do anything less kinda sets up some bad karma/mojo. First things first though, 3 series to go, starting with the urine and envy.

Of the top 4 teams, only the Beavers have 2 out of 3 series at home. The other three (of the top 4) have 2 out of 3 series on the road.
Here's hoping the power of the Goss will make the difference.

Magic number to clinch a spot in the Pac-12 Tournament:
Oregon State 1 UCLA 2 Arizona 3 Oregon 3 Stanford 4
Stanford plays Cal and can clinch with a sweep. California, on the other hand, can leapfrog Stanford with a sweep. California-Stanford and Oregon-Oregon State are the only two rivals that play this weekend.

Since Stanford only played two vs the coogs...do we win the conference regular season with two games vs the 'ruins? We would be 21-9 70% win pct Trees go 3-0 and they are 20-9 = 68.9% Or is it a tie, and due to the head to head 'furd the nod? Where did you get they only played two games? On the Stanford site, it shows a sweep. 8-7 in 12, 7-1, and 8-3.

Stanford played all 3 games vs WSU. OSU is 19-8 Stanford 18-9. Just hasn't been updated on PAC 12 website. So if it ends up tied then Stanford gets the nod due to head to head. Just got updated on Stanford and PAC 12 websites gostanford.com/sports/baseball/schedulepac-12.com/baseball/standings

I was relying on the P12 website (I know..silly me). It shows this for the first game of trees/coogs "FINAL" with no score is typical of 'did not play' at least for the P12 website..<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> It was played gostanford.com/sports/baseball/schedule

For Regular Season Championship Scenarios: Oregon State wins the Pac-12 going 3-0 against UCLA, 2-1 against UCLA and Stanford going 2-1 or worse against USC, 1-2 against UCLA and Stanford going 1-2 or worse against USC. Stanford wins the Pac-12 by sweeping USC and Oregon State only going 2-1 or worse against UCLA or going 2-1 against USC and Oregon State losing the series against UCLA. UCLA wins the Pac-12 by sweeping Oregon State and having Stanford go 1-2 or worse against USC. Stanford holds the tiebreaker over Oregon State and UCLA and the three-way tiebreaker. UCLA would hold the tiebreaker with Oregon State, if they finish tied due to a rainout or tie. Arizona holds the tiebreaker with Oregon State. Unless Stanford goes 0-3, the Beavers would fall to fourth with both a Bruin and Wildcat sweep. Oregon State will be second or third, if Stanford goes 0-3, depending on whether Arizona can sweep or not.
