"Once Reser is finished in 2023, what’s the next large capital project?"
Barnes: "We have in the works, track grandstands, and we’re in design for that. We have a softball video board coming. We’re an early design for a hitting building for baseball, and a rowing training center. All of these don’t move forward without lead gifts. We’re moving forward as rapidly as we can while we put the fundraising plan in place and secure gifts.
The next large project after that is a field sports building that will house all the sports that are outdoors — soccer, track, softball. It will accommodate their needs at that site as opposed to having to come from Gill (Coliseum). Team meeting rooms, locker rooms, coaches, offices, all of that, a training facility."
