So far, so good. 4 wins since last post and #'s pretty much shaking out as Boyd's World Predicted...here's where we stand today with reminder, this is the combination of wins we need at home/road to likely achieve the applicable RPI....a Top 8 RPI almost for sure clinches us a Top 8 seed (Super Regional Host if win Regionals) and Top 16 a Regional Host... Summary is 10 games left, 3 wins should get us Top 16, 5 wins should get us Top 8GO BEAVS! boydsworld.com/baseball/rpi/rpineeds.htmlTop 32: No more wins needed. Top 16: 1 home wins, 2 road wins 2 home wins, 1 road wins 3 home wins, 0 road wins Top 8: 2 home wins, 3 road wins 3 home wins, 2 road wins 4 home wins, 1 road wins 5 home wins, 0 road wins

This looks great. If someone would have told us we were going to lose two of our three projected starting pitchers early on and then have to play 500 ball for the last ten games to be a national seed, I think we all would have taken that. We started the year in Surprise with a component of small ball to put pressure on other teams and we clearly had the skill set to do that and be quite the pain in the rear to opposing teams. I love the job Canham and staff have done, just a little surprised we have gone away from it. I'd bet that both Travis and Boyd are batting close to 500 when bunting and they are both hell on wheels for opposing teams when on the base paths.
